Prom Dress Exchange March 6
The annual Prom Dress Exchange will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Bluffton (one block west of the Library) on Friday, March 6 from 4-6 p.m. and Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Shop the exchange for new and gently used prom dresses in all sizes. A $10 donation would be appreciated for a dress. Also the prom dress exchange is currently accepting donated dresses, shoes, purses and accessories. No need to have dresses cleaned before donating. OK Modern Cleaners in Bluffton will clean dresses from the Prom Dress Exchange free of charge. Note: Southern Wells Prom is May 9 this year.
St. Aloysius track team fundraiser March 8
Saint Aloysius 2015 Track Team will sponsor a 5K Run fundraiser Sunday, March 8 at 14607 Bluffton Road in Yoder. Medals will be awarded to age group winners and the Top Three over all and masters. Day of race registration only will begin at 1 p.m. The 5K starts at 2 p.m. Race will proceed in all weather conditions.

Brew Night at the FWMA March 12
On the second Thursday of March (March 12) the Fort Wayne Museum of Art’s Paradigm Gallery will host Brew Night. Visitors will be able to taste specialty beers from Fort Wayne breweries along with edibles and a cash bar. General admission is free but there will be a charge of $5 to view the “Dance Theatre of Harlem 40 Years of Firsts” exhibit.
Works by over 75 artists are featured and are for sale in the Paradigm Gallery. The gallery is open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
Fiber Fest March 13 and 14
The Jay County Visitor and Tourism Bureau will sponsor the 12th annual Fiber Fest and Spin-In Friday March 13 and Saturday March 14 at the Jay County Fairgrounds, located in Portland.
The two-day event, devoted to the fiber arts, will include classes and demonstrations.
A special lecture will be given by Kate Larson, a well-known fiber artist. She will talk about her love for sheep and Leicester Love and other stories. Kate will talk about the history of these unique sheep, share stories about her own flock in central Indiana, and show you what to look for (and what to avoid) when purchasing curly, lustrous, Leicester fleeces.
