Huntington Library to Hold Tech Day Nov. 18
Want help with a gadget, device, phone, or other piece of technology? Need an introduction to social media or email? Interested in using the Library’s Digital Branch to do research or download eBooks & eAudiobooks? Huntington City-Twp. Public Library invites the community to stop by the Main Library anytime from 11:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18.
The resident technology geeks from the Library’s staff will be on hand throughout the day to show off the Library’s Digital Branch, and to offer help with all kinds of technology - from Windows 8 to iPads, Facebook to web browsing, from scanning a photo to programming a phone, from Tweeting to finding auto repair information on our Chilton’s database, and much more.
Tech Day is free, and no registration is required to participate. Patrons are encouraged to bring any gadget, device or technology-centered questions they like. Wells County Choir to perform Nov. 17 at Ossian
Ossian Psi Otes will host their second concert at the Ossian Presbyterian Church Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. The Wells County Choir, directed by Arlene Stoller, will kick off the concert. Gabe Bailey will perform, as well as Ryan Hirschy and Brady Byerly. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Parking is behind the church. A collection for the proposed amphitheater will be taken during the concert. Call 260-622-4903 for more information.
South Adams Senior Luncheon Nov. 20
The Menu for the South Adams Senior Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 20 will include: turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberry salad, corn, rolls and butter, pumpkin pie, coffee and punch Cost of the meal will be $6 per person. Reservations must be in by Monday, Nov. 18. Call 260-589-8877 to reserve the meal.
