Badmiton is underway
The Parks and Recreation department offers a FREE drop in badminton league for beginners and experienced players. Stop by the city gym from 7-9 p.m. every Thursday. For more information o Questions call 824-6069.
Lights of Love Nov. 21
Erin’s House for Grieving Children will sponsor a Lights of Love memorial at Parkview Field in Fort Wayne Nov. 21-30. Sponsored luminaries will be set up around the field. Also viewable will be the 24 foot Tin Caps tree.
There is no admission fee to come and view the lights. Hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. with the exception of Thanksgiving Day. On Wednesday, Nov. 27 there will be fireworks at the field at 7:45 p.m.
Christmas at Salomon Farm Dec. 7
Christmas on the Farm will be celebrated at Fort Wayne’s Salomon Farm Park on Saturday, Dec. 7, 1 to 5 p.m.
Featured will be a live Nativity, horse drawn wagon rides, a visit form St. Nicholas, live music and more.
A donation of $5 per family is suggested in lieu of an admission fee. For more information, call 260-427-6005.
