Black Raspberry Pies for sale

Sigma Phi Gamma is once again selling home made black raspberry pies for the holidays. 

The pies are frozen and will need to be baked. 

Contact any member or 260-824-2229 to arrange pick-up or deliver. The price is $11 each. Proceeds for this project go to local charities.

Christ Child Fest at FW’s St. Francis Dec. 7 & 8

The Christ Child Festival will be held at the University of Saint Francis at the Performing Arts Center, 431 W. Berry St. Parking and admission will be free.

Hours for visiting will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.

“Witnessing the Glory of God” is the theme for the event and a photo contest is being held in connection with the festival. Deadline for entry is Nov. 15.

First prize is a mini vacation to Oakwood Resort on Lake Wawasee; second place is a $200 gift certificate to DARS and third place is four movie passes to Northwood Cinema Grill.

A People’s Choice award will receive two tickets to the Annie Moses band performance on Dec. 20.

Senior Villa Craft Show Nov. 8 & 9

A Craft Show will be held at Bluffton Senior Villas in the Welcome Center Thursday, Friday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Bluffton Senior Villas is located behind Dairy Queen in Bluffton on Ind. 1.

Ham & Bean, Chicken Noodle Soup Dinner Nov. 9

Members of the Poneto Firehouse will sponsor a Ham and Bean and Chicken Noodle Soup Dinner Saturday, Nov. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. 

The menu will include ham and beans, chicken noodle soup, hot dogs (with or without coney sauce), apple dumplings, pies, cakes, cold drinks and coffee.

Free will donations will be accepted with proceeds going to the Poneto Community Club.

Bazaar at Warren United Church of Christ Nov. 9

Warren United Church of Christ hold their annual fall bazaar, “Holiday’s At Our House” Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The church is located at 202 E. Second St., Warren. 

A complimentary snack and hot beverage will be provided from 9 to 11 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. 

There is a Christmas Craft Room, Cinnamon & Spice Nook, Deli & Bakery, Notions and homemade noodles.
