Festival of trains at Science Central Nov. 29-Dec. 1
The 15th annual Science Central’s Festival of Trains event to be held from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1. 
A variety of train sets will be set up to admire with local train groups on hand to provide details about the exhibits.
While there, visitors also may view the new Science on a Sphere exhibit that showcases an astronaut’s view of the Earth, Mars, moon and the sun.
The gift shop also will be open for educational toys and gifts for purchase.
Hours for the trains are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 29 and 30, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Winter Warrenland Nov. 29-30
Winter Warrenland will be held Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30.
On Friday Santa will arrive at 6 p.m. in downtown Warren at the corner of Second and Wayne streets. He will be escorted by the Warren Fire Department.
Santa will oversee the downtown lighting ceremony from 6:15 to 6:30 p.m.
From 6:30 to 6:45 p.m. there will be a Santa Walk, where children of all ages can walk with Santa to the Knight-Bergman Center to participate in the annual lighting of the center grounds and building.
Beginning at 6:45 p.m. Santa will meet and greet children and take their Christmas wish requests. Refreshments of hot chocolate and cookies will be avaiable.
On Saturday, Nov. 30 from 9 to 11 a.m. Santa will be at the Knight-Bergman Center where children will have another opportunity to meet Santa and give him their wish list. 
Children will receive a small gift. Cookies, hot chocolate and coffee will be available.

Christmas at Salomon Farm Dec. 7
Christmas on the Farm will be celebrated at Fort Wayne’s Salomon Farm Park on Saturday, Dec. 7, 1 to 5 p.m. Featured will be a live Nativity, horse drawn wagon rides, a visit form St. Nicholas, live music and more.

A donation of $5 per family is suggested in lieu of an admission fee. More information at 260-427-6005.
