BUTLER – The concerns of area residents regarding the Middle St. Joseph River Watershed project will be discussed at a public meeting next week, as well as ideas for water resources within the watershed.
On March 29, the steering committee for the project will meet at the Butler public library, 340 S. Broadway St., at 2:00 p.m. to discuss how a grant should be used to improve water quality in the watershed.
The project area consists of 85,617 acres following the St. Joseph River northeast from the eastern portion of Dekalb County, the northwest corner of Defiance County, Ohio and the southwest corner of Williams County, Ohio. (click here for more)
