Creative Arts Council Programs

IN THE BALENTINE GALLERY
CURRENT EXHIBIT—Now until April 8: the paintings of Dorothy Fryback in the exhibit “Birds, Butterflies and Beasts.”
• Also now until April 8: “Soft Strokes” Painted Porcelain by Nedra Steury in the conference room.
• March 13 Opening reception, chat with artists and browse for selections at 4 p.m.
• April 17- May 17 Tri Kappa High School art Awards Exhibit.
• Also look for Youth art downstairs in the Ouabache Room sponsored by Hiday Motors
• Area Student Artists Reception Sunday, April 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.

SCHOOL OF BALLET

Lyrical Dance with Amanda Berhalter for ages 12-21, now in session.
Creative Expressions for ages 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 now in session.
Mark calendars for free ballet stage performance featuring “Alice’s Dream,” Sunday, May 15, 3:30 p.m., Bluffton High School.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
YOGA FOR BEGINNERS—Now in session on Tuesday with Susy Jones, YTA.
RHAPSODY, RHYTHM & RHYME—”Sea Sounds,” music for toddlers with Cynthia Lemmen, SOLD OUT in session on Monday mornings.
CULINARY ARTISTS—Thursday, March 24, noon, Pizza with Carol Studabaker. Reservations by March 18, $5.
FORT WAYNE OUTING–April 14, Food lovers unite for a taste tour of Naked Tchopstix in Fort Wayne. The outing requires $3 registration at CAC and spending money for lunch and incidentals.
Brown Bag Book Club–meets March 29 from noon to 1:30 to discuss The Help by Kathryn Stockett, led by Nan Yake
BOOK GROUP–April 5 finds a combined community book group gathering with Bayview and Foltz Clubs here!

EVENTS
Annual Fundraiser Auction Dinner–Friday, April 8. $30 per guest, reservations due by March 29! Reserve NOW!
OPEN MIC–Monday, April 18 at 7 p.m. Open Mic Poetry Reading aka Word Art in the Balentine Gallery. FREE.
