Badminton played at City Gym
Adult Badminton is held at the Bluffton City Gym on Thursdays nights from 7 to 9 p.m. from now until Dec. 9. Cost is a onetime fee of $5 per person.

Free Bingo at City Gym
The Bluffton Parks Department offers Free Bingo every first and third Wednesday of the month on the second floor of City Hall (elevator at West glass door entrance). Bingo times are 1 to 2:30 p.m. For more information call 824-6069.

Faraway Places musical Nov. 13
The New Builders of Calvary United Methodist Church on Airport Expressway at Winchester Road, will present a dinner and musical variety show at the church Saturday, Nov. 13 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under age 13. The event will feature around the world musical classics.
Deadline for reservations is Nov. 8. There will be no door ticket sales. Call 260-485-0799 or 260-747-9218.
Those with reservations need to be at the church by 6:10 p.m. on show night.

Free Mark's Ark event Nov. 13
Bluffton Parks Department invites the public to see Mark’s Ark Saturday, Nov. 13 in the City Gym from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Families will get a hands-on experience with a variety of animals and learn some fun facts.

St. Jude’s fundraiser Nov. 18
St. Jude’s fundraiser will be held at the Ossian Tavern Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. Cost is $15. Eight beers to sample, snacks, and auction items available.

College scholarship deadline Nov. 15
Gamma Zeta Chapter of Psi Iota Xi of Ossian is announcing a $500 college scholarship. To be eligible for this award, the applicants must be a Wells County resident, a junior or senior in college, currently enrolled in a course of study this fall at an accredited college or university. Special consideration will be given to those students majoring in art, literature, music, or speech and hearing. Coping with the Holidays meeting Nov. 16
Bereavement Education Series entitled “Coping with the Holidays” will be held Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at 5910 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne.
This free program will offer conversation on how to survive special days.
