Creative Arts Council Programs

IN THE BALENTINE GALLERY
exhibit—“Barns of Indiana” by Gwen Gutwein, whose goal is to create an original painting of a barn located in every county in Indiana. Meet artist Gutwein on Friday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. in person. Calendars depicting the barn paintings available for $16. No admission charge.
SANTA EXHIBIT—Call for entries of Santa figures in painting, pottery, carving, tree ornaments, fabric work or other artistic renderings of St. Nicholas for display Dec. 10-30. Submit to CAC.

READER’S CIRCLE—Tuesday, Nov. 16, noon. “The Life of Georgia O’Keeffe” with Billy Kreigh offering further facts, media clips and views of artworks of this unique American artist. Free event.

SOME ENCHANTED NOONTIME—Friday, Nov. 19, noon, meal and program by Ed Goetz, Marlyn Koons and Phyllis Shinn recalling South Pacific, $15. Reservations needed.

FESTIVAL OF TREES—is now registering project designers for the showcase to be held Dec. 3 through 6, 2010. Anyone wishing to be part of this fun annual show, call or email a request for guidelines.
