Rug Hooking Aug. 12-15 
The 19th Annual Rug Hooking Week is currently going on now through Saturday, Aug. 15 at Sauder Village. 
Now through Saturday, Aug. 15, hundreds of rug hookers will be contributing their pieces for this museum-quality exhibit in Founder’s Hall. The admission rate is $10 for students ages 6-16 and children 5 and under are free with family. Call 1-800-590-9755 or visitwww.saudervillage.org.

Salamonie Bird Scavenger Hunt Aug. 15
 Stop by Salamonie Interpretive Center at Salamonie Lake for a self-guided Bird Scavenger Hunt, Aug. 15, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Attendees can make and take a pine cone bird feeder, spend time at the bird-viewing window, investigate the roadsides for birds and add them to the scavenger hunt checklist, which is available at the interpretive center. The Jubilees to perform August 15

At 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, the Rockford Belle, at 135 Market Street, Rockford, Ohio will host gospel music entertainers, The Jubilees. Doors will open at 6 p.m. A free will offering will be accepted.  For more information contact Nancy Ritz at 567-259-9211.
