Preble Pancake & Sausage Breakfast March 1
Members of the Preble Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor an All-You-Can-Eat Pancake and Whole Hog Sausage Brunch Saturday, March 1 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Preble Fireman’s Park Pavilion in Preble.
A free will donation will be accepted. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will match funds. All proceeds will go to replacement equipment. Bulk sausage will be sold. 
The Fireman’s Park is located four miles west of Decatur on U.S. Hwy. 224. For more information call 260-223-1329.

Spaghetti Fundraiser March 1
A Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 1 at Bi-County Services from 4 to 7 p.m. at 425 E. Harrison Road in Bluffton. Cost is $10 per person.
The event will help raise money for Megan Hobson, Rachel Makowski and Laura Stroud with expenses to finish their Gold Projects.
Megan is putting together kits for house fire victims; Rachel wants to start a new dog park in Bluffton; and Laura is purchasing bikes and outdoor games for the women at A Friend’s House.
The meal will include spaghetti with meat sauce, breadstick, green beans, applesauce, cookie and a drink.

Hunter Education Course March 3, 5, 6
A Hunter Education course will be offered at no charge March 3, 5 and 6 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the 4-H Expo Hall at the Wells County 4-H Park.
Instructors will be ICO Andrew Harmon, Mike and Jodi Pinkerton, Rich Falk, Chris Pace and Tracy Myers.

Identify Spring Wildflowers March 6
Blackford County Master Gardeners will sponsor an event Thursday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Blackford County Extension Office at 119 N. High St. in Hartford City to identify spring wildflowers in Indiana.
The program will be presented by Jody Heaston, Indiana Department of Natural Resources Volunteer Coordinator.
