$1 Night at Botanical Conservatory March 6
On Thursday, March 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. the Botanical Conservatory will charge only $1 admission for adults and children.
The offer is held on the first Thursday night of the month. Babies and up to age two are still admitted free.

Fish and Tenderloin Supper March 8
Zanesville United Methodist Church Tower Life Center will sponsor an all-you-can-eat Fish and Tenderloin Supper Saturday, March 8 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at 11811 N. Wayne Street in Zanesville.
Dan’s Fish Fry will provide the fish and tenderloin. Carry-out will be available. Included in the meal will be homemade scalloped potatoes and desserts, applesauce or coleslaw, green beans and bread.
Proceeds will benefit Hope Ministries (Tri-County Ministries), Cub/Boy Scouts and Youth Mission Trip.
Cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-10 and free for children age five and younger.

ZUM-ba-thon March 8
A Zum-ba-thon will be held Saturday, March 8 from 9-11 a.m. at Zanesville United Methodist Church at 11811 N. Wayne Street in Zanesville.
This is a dance-fitness marathon fundraiser for ZUM’s youth summer mission trip to the Osage Indian Reservation in Oklahoma. Contemporary Christian music will be played. Doorprizes and childcare will be available.

Living History Faire March 8-9
The annual Living History Faire will be held March 8 and 9 in Rochester at the Fulton County Historical Society Museum in the meeting rooms.
Hours are Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $1 per person.
This is a pre-1890 Time Period Event devoted to living history and accoutrements.

Women of the Word Conference March 8
The eighth annual Women of the Word Conference will be held Saturday, March 8 at the Wells County 4-H Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The conference is designed to equip women of all ages to receive all that God has for them: spirit, soul and body. Shonna Slatten from Norman, Okla. will be the keynote speaker. Lunch will be provided. Tickets are $10 per person.
In addition to the Saturday event, there will be a Friday evening service at 6 p.m.

Traveling drama group to perform at Hope March 9
The Bethel College Genesians, a traveling drama troupe from Mikshawaka, will perform March 9 at 6 p.m. at Hope Missionary Church at 429 E. Dustman Road in Bluffton. This is a free event and suitable for the entire family.
The performance, entitled Footprints of a Pilgrim, tells the story of Ruth Bell Graham and her journey as a missionary daughter, writer, mother and wife of Billy Graham.

CAC offers adult beginning ballet
A beginning ballet class for adults will be offered by the Wells County Creative Arts Council’s School of Ballet beginning on Tuesday, March 11.
The class will meet each Tuesday from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. through the end of April. A signed registration form and first month’s payment is due by March 7, to the Creative Arts Centre at 211 Water St. in Bluffton.

Agent Orange meeting at Garrett March 12
The Garrett American Legion Post 178 will have another meeting Wednesday, March 12 at 6 p.m. at 515 W. 15th Ave. at the south end of Garrett.
The topic of the meeting will be Agent Orange. The meeting is open Vietnam veterans and the public. Admission is free. Those attending do not need to be a member of Post 178 to attend. Food will be available for purchase.
