Singles and Separates Support Group Feb. 12
Those who are experiencing the loss of a loved one or have a spouse who is living in long-term care, or suffering from dementia or another illness are invited to attend a Singles and Separates Support Group Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. at the Arthur and Glolria Muselman Wellness Pavilion at 1201 Emmental Drive in Berne.
Chaplain Mike Wertenberger heads the Singles and Separates. Members of the support group will form friendships and bonds with others who are facing similar situations, and gain valuable resources to help rebuild their life. 
Due to last week’s weather the February meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Mother Son Dance Feb. 16
Back by popular demand! A Mother Son Dance will be held at the 4-H building Sunday, Feb. 16 from 1 to 3 p.m.
This year’s theme is Mardi Gras. Those attending are  encouraged to wear purple, green or gold. Party favor masks, hats and beads will be handed out at the event, but feel free to wear your own too. 
Tickets are on sale in the Clerk Treasurer’s office at city hall for $10 per couple and $3 for each additional child. Those attending can bring their cameras. (1/9)

Art Fair at Indy’s State Museum Feb. 15
The 11th Annual Indiana Art Fair will be held at the Indiana State Museum on Saturday,  Feb. 15. More than 60 Indiana artists and artisans will be represented. Admission to the fair is included with the regular admission fee to the museum.

FW Philharmonic pops concert
Fort Wayne’s Philharmonic Orchestra will be presenting a Pops Concert on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 8 p.m. featuring the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber.  Ticket start at $25 and may be arranged for by calling 260-481-0777 or www.fwphil.org

United Art &  Education book signing Feb. 15
Author Dana Hoopingarner will be signing copies of her book Stinky Feet on Saturday. Feb. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4111 N. Clinton St., United Art & Education Store. There will be an author reading as well.  Books will be available for purchase. Those attending can meet Dana and the character of Ella. The event is free and open to the public.

Silent film at FW’s Embassy Feb. 16
Two 1920s black and white films will be shown at the Fort Wayne Embassy Theatre on Feb. 16, at 2 p.m.
“The Haunted House” and “The Mark of Zorro” will have musical accompaniment from the Grand Page Theatre Pipe Organ.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for those 12 and under ad students with valid ID’s.
