Montpelier Legion Auxilary collecting items for soldiers
Members of the Montpelier Legion Auxiliary will have a box at the Legion Post 156 for donated items to be dropped off for soldiers during the month of April. The items will be sent to soliders first part of May.
Items requested to be donated are as follows; Jerky, CRKT Dogfish knife, Clif Bars, Boot socks, HSGI WAS/WEE Shoulder strap pads, TAS blackout point sun glasses,  CAT M-4 Cleaning Tool, Dried tropical fruit mix, hard candies. Honey roasted nuts, beanie babies (they give out to the children), sun screen, pre packaged cookies or treats.  Items from Extreme outfitters would be great, t shirts, socks, and boots.
Please do not donate home made items as they are told to throw those away.  For more information call Renda Heyerly at 765-499-9792.  

Silent Harold Lloyd film at Embassy April 14
Fort Wayne’s Embassy Theatre is offering an afternoon of silent film on Sunday, April 14, at 2 p.m. when they will show Harold Lloyd’s “Safety Last” and the silent short film “Impossible Voyage.”
Both films will be accompanied by Steven Ball at the Grand Page Organ. 
A question and answer session will follow led by IPFW professor Steven Carr.
The Lloyd film features the famous scene of Lloyd hanging from a clock tower in this April 1923 release. Organist Ball is senior staff organist for the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, MI.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students, available at the door.
