What's UP!

NHS cookie dough fundraiser begins Feb. 10
Norwell High School will kick-off an Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough fundraiser Feb. 10. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the students through attendance and academic improvement incentives, graduation expenses, and other various student awards.
Cookie dough will be sold for two weeks beginning Feb. 10 and ending Feb. 24. At that time, all money must be turned in with the orders. Students will be responsible for delivery of the frozen cookie dough. No orders will be placed without payment.
Cookies come already pre-formed in a reusable tub, there is no scooping and no mess.

Read-a-Thon
Lock-In Feb. 12 at BHS
The 54-member Book Review Club at Bluffton High School will hold a Read-a-Thon lock-in Friday, Feb. 12, in the school library!
Members are requesting sponsors to donate money for each hour the student reads. The Read-a-Thon will begin at 6 p.m. and read until 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Readers will take breaks and perhaps even a nap, but there is the potential for a member to read eight to 10 hours.
Sponsors can pledge an amount for each hour of reading or may choose to make a donation of a set amount. All monies collected will be used to buy books for the school library.
Anyone who would like to sponsor a reader, but have not been approached directly, can still contribute by calling the high school at 824-3724 and asking for the library.
