Become friends with your computer in a fun, friendly atmosphere at the Wells County Public Library. Classes are free but you must register. Each class requires individual registration. Class size is limited so sign up today.
Don’t be afraid of the mouse: Introduction to computers — Thursday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m. A very basic introduction to computers. Learn to maneuver the mouse, parts of the computer and the lingo. Great for seniors and those new to the computer.
Copy & Paste: Basic word processing — Tuesday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. An introduction to word processing for beginners. Learn to copy & paste, edit text and more using Microsoft Word 2007. Note: you MUST be able to comfortably use a mouse to get the most out of this class.
Beginning Internet — Thursday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. Learn what the internet is and how to do basic web searching. You MUST be able to comfortably use a mouse to get the most out of this class.
Intermediate internet — Thursday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m. Take online searching a step further, discover interesting sites (travel, cooking, games, etc) and learn how to keep your computer healthy online. You MUST be able to use the mouse comfortably to get the most out of this class.
