Gospel concert Oct. 28
A free gospel concert will be held Friday, Oct. 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Ossian Nazarene Church, 302 N. Metts St., Ossian. Featured is one of the nation's premier gospel quartets, The Blackwood Brothers. If concert is held indoors seating is limited. For more information call 622-7449.

Bake sale in Montpelier Oct. 28
The Montpelier Friends of the Library will sponsor a bake sale Friday, Oct. 28, at Pacesetter Bank in Montpelier beginning at 9 a.m.

Model railroad show and swap Oct. 29
The Maumee Valley Railroad Club Inc., will sponsor a model railroad show and swap Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. at 2 p.m. at Coliseum Bingo at 911 W. Washington Center Road in Fort Wayne. Admission is $4 for adults, $6 for families and free for children age 12 and younger. There will be dozens of tables of model railroad bargains, two operating model railroad layouts and a special “Hands on Trains For Kids of all Ages” area. Black raspberry pies being made Oct. 29
Sigma Phi Gamma is once again making black raspberry pies for the holidays. Sigma Phi Gamma supports A Friend’s House as well as other local charities and presents a Senior Girl Award to the Bluffton High School senior girl who has overcome the most obstacles in her high school career. Call 824-2229 to order your pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. If no answer, leave a message. Pies are $11 each. Members will be making them Saturday, Oct. 29.
