Spooktacular Car Show Oct. 15
A "Spooktacular" car, truck and bike show will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, at Glenbrook Square Mall in Fort Wayne.

Registration is from 8 a.m. to noon. Awards will be at 3:30 p.m. Dash plaques are available for the first 125 entries. Goody bags are available for the first 75 entries.

Bring your decorated pumpkin for the contest. There will be a costume contest for those age 13 and younger.

Sisters of St. Benedict visit Oct. 14-16
A Come and See Event Sisters of St. Benedict, Ferdinand, Indiana will be held Oct. 14-16 for single, Catholic woman between the ages of 18 to 40.

Get to know our Benedictine sisters, share in our community life and prayer, and meet other women who are considering religious life — no pressure, no commitment.

Museum of the Soldier Chicken Supper and Military Vehicle Show Oct. 15
The Museum of the Soldier, located in Jay County, will sponsor its annual chicken supper and military vehicle show Saturday, Oct. 15, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at 510 E. Arch Street, Portland.

Fisher Quality Meats will cater the event with a barbecue supper.

Tickets are $8 per person and must be purchased in advance by calling 260-729-7017, 260-726-6296, 260-726-8060 or 260-726-2967 or log onto www.museumofthesolder.com. All proceeds go to benefit the museum.
