Pianist doctoral recital at First Baptist Oct. 14
Ball State postgraduate student Christopher Ruggiero will present his doctoral piano recital Friday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church at 202 W. Cherry Street, Bluffton (one block west of Bluffton Regional).
He will play selections composed by Beethoven, Debussy, Liszt and Chopin. The public is welcome to attend the free concert.
Pennville Fall Jubilee Oct. 15
The fifth annual Pennville Fall Jubilee will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include a largest pumpkin contest, games, food, music, face painting, haunted lawn and photo spots. The Pennville Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a hog roast from 4 to 7 p.m. Call 260-731-3812.
Country/gospel concert Oct. 16
A free country/gospel concert by local artist Denver Morrow and Esther Mowery will be held Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Ossian Church of the Nazarene. The church is located at 302 N. Metts St., Ossian.
First Sunday Service Oct. 16 at River of Life
The first service at River of Life Church will be held Sunday, Oct. 16, at 9:07 a.m. and 11:04 a.m. at the former Education Plus at 927 N. Main Street on Ind. 1 in Bluffton. For more information call 260-824-3903.
