City Gym memberships are now available for 2015. Prices have not increased and are as follows: Single Wells County residents: $145. Family Wells County residents: $175. Single, Non-Wells County residents: $185. Family Non-Wells County residents: $215. Call 824-6069.
Theater Thursday Jan. 15
Theater Thursday, the free movie for adults, will be held on Jan. 15. The movie will be “Heaven is for Real”, which is rated PG.
The Bluffton Parks and Recreational Department, Wells County Public Library and Bluffton Regional Senior Circle have partnered together to offer a free monthly movie. The video will be shown at 10 a.m. at the Wells County Public Library. Free snacks, a 10 minute health info and prizes will be part of the program. Call 824-6069.
Youth ballet Jan. 17
On Saturday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m. the Fort Wayne Ballet Youth Company will present a free performance, open to the public, at the Multi-Flex Theater located in Indiana Tech’s Academic Center.
Pieces to be performed by the Company will include Les Patineurs (The Skaters), Grand Pas de Quatre, Steadfast Tin Soldier and Hansel & Gretel.
The free performance was made possible in part through a grant to the university from The Auer Foundation. Free parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the Academic Center at 1600 East Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne. Bummie’s Night at Post 111 Jan. 24
On Saturday, Jan. 24 “Bummie’s Night” will be held at the American Legion Post 111 in Bluffton from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Proceeds from sale of food will benefit the Steve Kelly Cancer Relief Foundation.
Because this event is extremely popular, it is suggested that anyone planning to attend should arrive early.
