Singles-Separates Support Group April 2
Singles and Separates Support Group will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Arthur and Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion, at 1201 Emmental Drive in Berne. Chaplain Mike Wertenberger will be on hand to answer questions. Non-members and members of the Wellness Pavilion are welcome to attend this free support group. For more information call 260-589-4496.
Cancer Services Lapper race registration
The Lapper and Survivors Day Celebration, sponsored by Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, will be held on Saturday, May 17, at the Brotherhood Office Park, 6316 Mutual Dr. in Fort Wayne. Registration to participate is now in progress to www.lapper2014.kintera.org.
The fundraiser is designed to honor those touched by cancer. Each lapper is encouraged to walk as many laps around Brotherhood Place Office Park as they can.
Walkers who register by May 1 and raise a minimum of $25 will receive a commemorative Lapper t-shirt. Water and fresh fruit will be provided during the walk, which will take place rain or shine. At 11 a.m., after the walk, a Survivors Day Celebration will be held.
Registration on the day of the race will begin at 9 a.m. with the program to begin at 9:30 a.m. Call 866-484-9560.
