CAC offers adult beginning ballet March 11
A beginning ballet class for adults will be offered by the Wells County Creative Arts Council’s School of Ballet beginning on Tuesday, March 11.
The class will meet each Tuesday from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. through the end of April. A signed registration form and first month’s payment is due by March 7, to the Creative Arts Centre at 211 Water St. in Bluffton.

Alzheimer’s meeting in Columbia City March 12
“Know the 10 Signs,” a workshop on detecting the warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease, will be held on Wednesday, Mar. 12, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Parkview Whitley Hospital, located 1260 E. State Road 205. 
There is no fee to attend the program, but registration is requested by contacting the Alzheimer’s Association at 800-272-3900.

Second Thursday at FWMA gallery March 13
A Fiber Arts Showcase will be featured at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art’s Paradigm Gallery on the 2nd Thursday event on March 13, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Artists   Ronia Krieg and Amy Gunderson will demonstrate fiber arts skills including the intricate method of spinning and dying wool and the Nuno Felting process. Free admission, snacks and a cash bar. More information at www.fwmoa.org

CAC’s St. Patty’s paint-out March 14
A St. Patty’s Paint-Out will be presented by the Creative Arts Council on Friday, March 14, at 6 p.m. in the Balentine Gallery at the Arts Commerce & Visitors Centre.
Reuben sandwiches and green beer will be offered while participants create an Irish-themed painting during the evening.
Cost is $25 per person or $20 for CAC members. Space is limited and reservations are needed by March 12 by calling (260) 824-5222 or by emailing to creativeartscouncil@gmail.com
The created masterpieces ill be displayed in the Balentine Gallery through the month of March.

Poneto Chili Supper March 15
A Chili Supper will be held Saturday, March 15 at the Poneto Volunteer Fire Department from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
The menu will include chili, chicken noodle, sloppies, hot dogs, homemade desserts and drinks. A free will donation will be accepted.

Science Fun: The Seedy Side of Things March 15
The Seedy Side of Things will be presented Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Muncie Children’s Museum.
Seeds come in all shapes and sizes. Attendees will look at a variety of different seeds and explore all of the properties these tiny beings have to offer. 
Explore the inner workings of a seed by dissecting them to see what exactly they have to offer. Learn that big things can come in small packages. 
Pre-registration is not required and the program is free with regular Conservatory admission (members and volunteers admitted free) Cost is $5 per adult, $3 per child (age 3-17). Children age 2 and under free. For more info, call (260) 427-6440.

Zanesville Ham and Bean Supper March 15
The Zanesville Lions Ham and Bean Supper will be held Saturday, March 15 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Lions Clubhouse.
Cost is $5 for adults. $3 for children age age 6-12 and free for children age 5.
The menu will include ham and beans, cornbread, two sides and drink.
Apple dumplings will also be available for $2 each. Carry-out or eat in. For more information call 260-638-4327.

Coin and Currency Show March 16
The Old Fort Coin Club will sponsor a Coin and Currency Show Sunday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Allen County Fairgrounds.
There will be over 50 tables of numismatic material, free parking, free admission and food will be available.

Directions: Take I-69 to Exit 311B. Go north on Lima to Carroll Road then follow the signs to the show.

Red Cross Blood Drive March 31 in Ossian
An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held Monday, March 31, from 1:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in the Fellowship Hall, located at 302 N. Metts St. in Ossian.

Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in some states), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. Please bring a Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID when coming to donate.s
