James Dean Ride July 19

The James Dean Ride will be held Sunday, July 19. Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. at the truck stop in Warren located at I-69 and State Road 4. Ride will begin at 10 a.m. The ride will go by James Dean’s home, gravesite and and an old indian motorcycle shop.

Girls Scouts community swim July 25

Members of Wells County Girl Scouts will host a Community Swim Saturday, July 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $2 per person.

‘Mary Poppins’ begins July 25

Fort Wayne’s Civic Theatre will be presenting the musical Mary Poppins July 25 to Aug. 9 at the Arts United Center in Fort Wayne.

It will star Halee Shutt as Mary Poppins and Chris Rasor as Bert. There will be 8 p.m. curtain times on July 25, 31, Aug. 1, 7, 8 and 2 p.m. ones on July 26, Aug. 2, 9. Admission is $29 for adults, $24 for seniors and $17 for those 23 and younger. On Sunday, Aug. 2, at noon a luncheon and show package is priced at $38 for adults and $32 for those 10 and younger. Arrange for tickets by calling 260-424-5220 during box office hours of noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Craft Bazaar Oct. 24 

Craft vendors are needed for the Allen County 4-H Fairgrounds third Annual Craft Bazaar on Saturday Oct. 24 at the Allen County 4-H Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Cost for an 8 foot booth space, with table, will be $35.  For more information or booth rental contact Chad at 260-704-0765.
