Open Mic Night Nov. 21

New Beginning Church will have an Open Mic Night Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. at 2187 W. Ind. 218, Bluffton.

Elks Hoop Shoot Conest Nov. 22

This year’s free Elks Hoop Shoot will be Nov. 22 for girls. Youth must be ages 8-14 years old by April 1, 2015. 

This free throw contest is held in the Bluffton City Gym from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Age brackets are 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13. This is a FREE contest and winners will advance. For more information call 273-8277. Boys contest was Nov. 15.

Santa letters accepted beginning Nov. 24

The Bluffton Parks Department is happy to deliver your child’s letter to Santa between Nov. 24 and Dec. 19. Each child will receive a personalized letter back with a small gift enclosed. Please make sure that the child’s name and address are clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Santa’s mailbox is blue and located near the front steps of city hall. This is a free service and no postage is needed.

Giant Stocking Coloring Contest underway

Children can enter the Winter Coloring Contest for a chance to win a giant toy filled stocking. Coloring pages have been sent to area schools or can be printed off from:  http://www.blufftonindiana.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/giantstockingcoloringcontest2014.pdf 

Coloring pages are due back by Dec. 17 to the Parks Department office at 128 E. Market St.
