Roanoke to be rocking this weekend as 57th annual Fall Festival hits town

"Rockin' in Roanoke" is the theme of the 57th annual Roanoke Fall Festival that will take place Thursday through Sunday of this week, Sept. 9-12.

Thursday, Sept. 9
The fun kicks off Thursday with a doughnut-eating contest at 6 p.m. at Roanoke Park.

Afterwards, kids can enjoy a clown with balloon animals and kids crafts at Roanoke Brethren Church. Some carnival rides will be open to give festival-goers a taste of what's to come in the next few days....
