Southern Wells Port-a-pit fundraiser June 16
Southern Wells cheerleaders will sponsor a Nelson’s Port-A-Pit chicken fundraiser Saturday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Walgreens in Bluffton.

Soup 'n Sandwich Lunch June 16
The Monroe United Brethren Women’s Missionary Fellowship will sponsor a soup ‘n sandwich lunch Saturday, June 16, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. The church is located in Monroe at 205 S. Adams Street.

Lunch will consist of chili, chicken noodle and bean soup, sloppy jo sandwiches, hot dogs and chili dogs,; homemade pies and cakes, and chips and drinks. All proceeds go for sending kids to church camp and/or mission projects. Also, maps for the community garage sales taking place that day will be available at the church.

Father's Day carry-out pork chop dinner June 17
A Carry-out only Father's Day Pork Chop Dinner will be offered by members of St. Mark's Lutheran Church Sunday, June 17 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Cost is $7 and includes half pound smoked pork chop, baked potato and applesauce. To order call 260-622-4886. The church is located at 16933 Thiele Road.

Lancaster Chapel Bible School June 18-22
Lancaster Chapel United Methodist Church will sponsor a Bible School titled “Sonrise National Park” June 18-22 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for children ages 3 through grade six. The church is located at 4510 East, 400 North, Craigville. For more information call 260-597-7321 or 260-622-7158.

Flower Arranging at Ossian June 19
Members of the Ossian Garden Club have invited the public to a flower arranging demonstration Tuesday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ossian Library.

A master gardener from Fort Wayne will do the demonstration for the novice utilizing both common and unusual items found around the home. For more information call Mary Ann Ripperger at 260-622-4003.

Merchant's Tent at Blackford 4-H Fair

Stroller Fitness program to start June 8
The Bluffton Parks Department will start a stroller fitness program this Friday, June 8, at 9 a.m. and will run for six weeks.

Parents can load up their small children in a stroller and meet at Pickett's Run near the splash pad. Bring a beach towel and hand weights if available (or two cans of soup). Cost is $3 per class and is for all fitness levels. Please call the park office at 824-6069 and leave your name and phone number .

Southern Wells Church to offer free lunches
Southern Wells Community Church will be serving free lunches (no donations) on the corner of Main St. and Ind. 18 in Montpelier on Tuesdays, June 12, and Saturday, June 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Served will be sandwiches, chips and drinks. For more information call 765-728-2154.

Women in the Outdoors Fun Shoot June 24
The second annual Women in the Outdoors Fun Shoot will be held Sunday, June 24, from noon to 4 p.m. at Roush Lake Shooting Range. Cost is $5 for non-members and free for members.

The event is open to all women, first time players and experienced shooters. Guns and ammunition will be supplied. Hearing protection and eye protection will be provided.
